Applications and Solutions
Pyroblast-C

The new PYROBLAST-C ™ technology system is based on stable chemical propellants with consistent elements, which are different from the slurries or hydrogels, as well as  mulsions.
The eFUSE™, which is activated electronically, allows sequential time delays with a lot better blasting control and better results.

What are the main differences between the traditional systems based on conventional explosives and this system?

There are many. The VOD is less than 1,000 Meters/ Sec. which allows this product to be classified as an exploder and not as an explosive. Additionally because of its chemicals compounds, its combustion does not produce toxic gases such as nitrous oxide or carbon monoxide that can cause hazards.

These characteristics are complemented by reduced noise levels with the proper borehole sealing, at almost 80dB, a low amount of fly rock, and small vibration levels makes it ideal for trenching, ditches, concrete demolition, pits, road expansion and land leveling jobs for urbanization.

Where can it be used?

It is useful in jobs such as trenching, oversized rocks, urbanizing jobs and concrete demolition. It is useful for mining purposes also, such as overflows, tunneling, and extracting jobs in unstable areas or areas with poor ventilation, extracting jobs in places with machinery or equipment as well as in seismic fractioning in seismic procedures.

The whole set of quality elements, resulting from many years of experience, investigation, integrating critical components, and from eFUSE´s ™ variable electronic sequence activation has been developed through worldwide renown laboratories that offers reliable performance that works.

Is the device used as a conventional explosive or does i t have any limitations?

PYROBLAST-C ™ is used in a similar way to the conventional explosives which reduces technical personnel training costs, although its usage doesn’t require any PETN based or
ANFO ignition device.

The templates can be developed based on the desired rock remaining using the different existing capsule presentations and diameters. Our engineering area offers support for template and timing delay designs to produce immediate results.

Also, our database records reports from different environments that can lower failure based on experiences and useful knowledge that can be consulted.
